MET 1860 Ballgown



I adore this beautiful c1860 Original Silk Ballgown from the Metropolitain Museum of Art's collection. The dress is American and made of lovely silk brocade. The MET's Costume Institute has a wonderful collection of original textiles and an online searchable database with pictures.
