Welbourne 1864: Friday Afternoon

On this Thanksgiving Day I am thankful for the lovely ladies that I have had the privilege of reenacting with recently and in years past. Inspiring women who are beautiful inside and out. Looking back through these pictures from a reenactment this past fall reminds me of the joy that I experience with these friends.

This set of pictures is from Friday Afternoon of the Immersion event at Welbourne Plantation in Middleburg, VA. After breakfast we changed into our day dresses and enjoyed the morning and afternoon taking strolls around the countryside.

  4. Oh heavens! You ladies look so fantastic in your dresses! Did you in fact have a time machine hidden in the bushes that you perhaps stepped out of! Everything looks so marvelous! Especially the pictures with the horses! What fun!
    Blessings!
